We have an amazing mission statement! 

Small businesses, non-profits, and the public sector have many printing and marketing options. A2Z Printing provides the expertise so that their printed and marketing materials increase brand visibility and customer engagement.  

In essence, our work is not just about printing; it’s about fostering connections and driving growth for our clients and community.

While this statement does a great job of concisely telling our employees and customers “why” the company exists, and “what” we do, it doesn’t provide the depth of detail that we need to help each team member see their place in the organization, know the impact of the work they do, or provide a “how” to achieve the goals of the organization.

Our strategic vision will serve as a guide that will be relevant to daily decisions, business development, hiring processes, operations, and marketing. It tells us what A2Z should look like when it is fully firing on all cylinders. By referring to the strategic vision on a regular basis, we will all keep a clear understanding of who we serve best, how we serve them, and why working at and with A2Z is truly special.

By setting clear objectives (choosing our destination) and tracking KPIs (using our compass and map), we ensure our ship sails the right course, measuring progress and adjusting our sails to reach our goals efficiently. 

Here are the KPIs we track to navigate our performance:

Customer Satisfaction

  • Measurement: Google rating, surveys, and customer complaints & resolution.
  • Target Percentage: Maintain a Google rating of 4.5 stars or above and achieve a 90% customer satisfaction rate through surveys. We will respond to any complaint within 24 hrs.

On-time Delivery Rate

  • Measurement: Tracking order delivery dates against promised deadlines.
  • Target Percentage: 95% or higher.

Print Quality Assurance Rate (print percentage with zero defects)

  • Measurement: Regular quality control checks during and after the printing process.
  • Target Percentage: 98% or higher.

Customer Retention Rate

  • Measurement: customer count at beginning/end of a specific period
  • Target Percentage: 80% or higher.


OUR TEAM

To serve our clients with excellence, our staff must be excellent. Our staff is happy, hardworking, well trained, professional, and knows what’s expected of them. We take ownership of our areas of responsibility, and we are committed to growing personally and professionally. 

We are all cross trained in the basics of process optimization and marketing to help the business continue to grow. Because every job function is fully systematized and documented in the A2Z Operations Manual, we can serve our clients well and effectively. 

Jeff is a prime example of what we’re all about at A2Z Printing. He’s all in when it comes to helping our clients achieve or even surpass their goals through their printing or marketing projects.

Jeff tackles issues by examining the facts. When working with only guesses or insufficient data, he starts by gathering more information. He does it by asking questions or running micro-tests to validate assumptions. For instance, when Jeff discovered that 60% of our accounts receivable were late, he called the late accounts to uncover their reasons for missing payments. By collecting the relevant data, Jeff was able to propose a solution that lowered the late AR percentage in the short-term and then continued to improve it. 

Jeff is positive, viewing every challenge as a chance to grow, knowing that we reward our team for a job well done. Our aim isn’t just to clock in hours; it’s to achieve the best outcomes. We pay for value, not time. 

We also celebrate each other’s success. Our culture is one built on grace when (not if) our team members make mistakes or ruffle our feathers. Our first step during conflict is de-escalation: we take steps to calm down, maybe by stepping away or writing our thoughts/feelings. We avoid reacting negatively and are proactive about seeking understanding of the other person/situation. We then talk openly and honestly about the situation, addressing concerns or upset feelings if needed. In all, we always strive to do it with grace.
